Denise M. Quinterri concentrates her practice on ethics. She represents attorneys in State Bar proceedings and applicants in the Character and Fitness process, advises and consults on general professional responsibility issues, provides opinion letters, and assists in fee disputes. Denise received both her BA (summa cum laude) and her JD (cum laude) from the University of Arizona. She began her legal career at Streich Lang, (now Quarles & Brady), later served as Bar Counsel for the State Bar of Arizona, and then worked for David Dodge at the law firm of Dodge Anderson. Denise is Martindale-Hubbell rated AV® Preeminent™. She currently resides in Texas (near Austin), but, given the modern-day flexibility of virtual practice, still maintains her Arizona practice.

Denise is a member of the Center for Professional Responsibility of the ABA and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (“APRL”). She has served as President of the Horace Rumpole Inn of Court, on the Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) Advisory Committee, and on the Programs Committee for APRL. She has been recognized as the VLP “New Attorney of the Year” and by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education as one of the “Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys of Arizona.” In 2006, Denise was a recipient of the Foundation’s Mark Santana Award for Exceptional Contributions in Law-Related Education.
