Attorney Craig Stephan is a 1981 graduate of the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, California. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and has been in private practice in Maricopa County, Arizona, for over thirty-four years. His practice areas include civil litigation, professional’s malpractice, residential and commercial real estate, whistleblower cases, and appellate work. He represents plaintiffs in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. The types of cases handled have included real estate and commercial disputes, complex personal injury cases, wrongful death, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical product liability litigation, and others.

In addition, Craig has represented plaintiffs in select federal and state civil rights cases. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also handles arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association.

He earned an M.B.A. with an emphasis in finance from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2012. He also has an M.A. in Classics from the University of California at Santa Barbara (1978), and a B.A. in Philosophy from California State University, Fresno (1975).

Craig has written about the duties of Arizona real estate professionals, and has periodically taught disclosure and agency law to real estate licensees. He has also presented continuing legal education seminars to Arizona lawyers on “Disclosure in a Real Estate Transaction” and “Arbitration”.
